About
I’m Addam (he/him), I’m a qualified counsellor working in Bristol, Bath, online and outdoors.
I am an integrative, relational, and trauma-informed counsellor, which means that I work in a range of ways to meet the needs of my clients, incorporating aspects of different therapeutic approaches in response to each person's preference.
I consider myself affirming of all aspects of gender, sexual and relationship diversity (GSRD), sex- and kink-positive, and supportive of those who are exploring these aspects.
I believe strongly in social justice and equality, and am committed to anti-oppressive counselling practice. As well as my own lived experience of being from a mixed heritage background, I also work part-time providing therapy for refugees, asylum seekers, and other clients from ethnically minoritised backgrounds.
You can bring almost anything you want to the therapy room, but the topics shown here are some areas where I have particular expertise / training / experience. If you want to know more about any of these, please get in touch.
